Description
African Arowana is a unique freshwater bonytongue with a more terminal mouth than many other arowana species. It is widely associated with shallow freshwater habitats and is valued by collectors for its unusual appearance and ancient lineage.
Juvenile specimens should be fed small foods such as brine shrimp or microworms several times per day. Larger fish generally adapt well to prepared foods and should be kept in a secure, tightly covered aquarium because arowanas are powerful jumpers.
